How much will our remodel cost? +
You'll get a ballpark estimate shortly after your initial on-site consultation, and our final proposal typically lands very close to it unless the scope changes significantly. Most Nordic additions and whole-home renovations represent an investment of $150K-$300K; kitchens and baths vary with scope and selections.
What drives the cost of a project? +
Project size, structural modifications, material selections, cabinetry, fixtures, finishes, and complexity. During design we show you how each decision moves the number, so you control the budget with real information.
Will there be surprise costs? +
Our design and pre-construction process exists specifically to prevent them. Plans, selections, and scope are finalized before construction begins, on a fixed-price contract.
How do change orders work? +
Larger changes get documentation, pricing, and your approval before we proceed; smaller requests are often handled quickly to keep momentum. Every approved change is documented and reconciled, nothing lands on an invoice you haven't seen.
How long will our project take? +
We provide a realistic schedule before construction based on scope, selections, permitting, and complexity, and update you weekly against it. What we won't do is quote a fantasy number to win the job.

How often will we hear from you? +
Constantly, and proactively. Every project gets a dedicated group text (you, your project coordinator, project manager, office administrator, and the owner) with regular updates on progress, upcoming work, and milestones.
Who is our point of contact? +
Your office administrator and project coordinator handle questions; your project manager oversees day-to-day construction; and the owner remains actively involved and accessible throughout.
How do we know what's happening on our project? +
Your personal Buildertrend portal holds schedules, progress photos, selections, documents, messages, and weekly updates. One place, always current.
What's your communication philosophy? +
Proactive communication prevents surprises. You'll be informed before you need to ask, that's the standard we hold ourselves to.

Can we use our own designer or architect? +
Absolutely, bring your own, or use our in-house design services. Either way, our team guides layouts, selections, materials, fixtures, and finishes to a buildable, priced plan.
Can we make changes during the project? +
Changes are welcome throughout the design phase. After construction begins, changes go through the documented change-order process so your price and schedule stay honest.
How do you define quality? +
More than beautiful finishes: a space that functions well, reflects your personality, supports your lifestyle, and enhances daily life. Quality control runs continuously, documented with photos and video in Buildertrend.

Can we stay in our home during the renovation? +
In many cases, yes, we determine what's realistic during planning and design the construction sequence around your family.
How do you control dust and disruption? +
Dust barriers, floor protection, containment systems, and regular cleaning are standard on every project. Job sites are kept organized, professional, and safety-first, and cleaned regularly throughout construction.
Who will be working in our home? +
Only trusted team members and vetted trade partners, many of whom have been with Nordic for years. Your project manager supervises daily; the owner visits regularly.
We have kids and pets. How does that work? +
We discuss special considerations during planning and take real precautions to keep everyone safe and comfortable. We understand we are guests in your home, and we act like it.
